PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) announced positive Feasibility Study results for its Pani Gold Project in Gorontalo, Sulawesi. The study confirms Pani as a large-scale, low-cost open-pit operation with a projected peak gold production of 500,000 ounces per annum and an ultimate processing capacity of 19.0Mtpa. The project boasts robust economics with a post-tax NPV8 up to US$2.89 billion and an IRR of 41%. Initial production is targeted for late 2025, with the first gold pour expected in early 2026.
